Maria-Ernestina Christl, Ph.D.

Dr. Maria-Ernestina Christl received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Denver in 2024 and is currently a Psychologist Candidate. She specializes in couples, parenting, family therapy, and trauma. She is a native Spanish-speaker and can conduct therapy in English and/or Spanish. Dr. Christl meets her clients where they are at, utilizing a variety of empirically supported treatment approaches. Her approach is warm and solutions-focused, honoring your goals, experiences, culture, and values. 

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Christl conducts research through the University of Denver and Thriving Families, a non-profit organization supporting families with young children. She works closely with Dr. Rhoades on her ongoing projects focused on supporting healthy relationships.
